Short and lungo brewing

Select the serving size directly from the illuminated controls:

— Short espresso: Approximately 2.4 fl oz (70 mL)

— Lungo coffee: Approximately 3.7 fl oz (110 mL)

Actual drink volume may vary slightly according to the coffee format and capsule used.

Hot coffee mode

Rapid heating brings the water to an extraction temperature of approximately 198°F (92°C). The high-pressure brewing system helps produce concentrated flavor, aroma and crema in every cup.

Cold-coffee mode

Use the cold setting to prepare coffee for chilled and iced drinks. Add cold water to the reservoir and brew over ice for an easy iced espresso or longer cold coffee.

The machine does not refrigerate or actively chill the water.

Cup clearance

The machine accommodates different cup styles depending on the serving setup:

— Approximately 2.4 inches of clearance for short espresso cups

— Up to approximately 4.1 inches for taller cups

How to Use and Clean

Before brewing

— Fill the water reservoir with fresh drinking water.

— Select the adapter that corresponds to your capsule, ESE pod or ground coffee.

— Insert the coffee and secure the adapter according to the supplied instructions.

— Place a suitable cup beneath the dispenser.

— Press the power button and allow the machine to heat.

— Select the short or lungo button to begin brewing.

For cold coffee

— Fill the reservoir with cold water.

— Place ice in a heat-resistant glass or cup if desired.

— Select the cold-coffee function and preferred serving size.

After brewing

— Allow used capsules and adapters to cool before removal.

— Discard the used capsule, pod or coffee grounds.

— Rinse the removable adapter after use.

— Empty and clean the drip tray regularly.

— Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.

— Never immerse the machine, power cord or plug in water.

— Descale the internal system periodically according to the supplied instructions and local water hardness.

Which capsules are compatible?
The machine is designed for compatible small espresso capsules, compatible larger beverage capsules, ESE paper pods and ground coffee. It is not intended for dome-shaped barcode capsules.

Does it use whole coffee beans?
No. Whole beans must be ground before use. Add appropriately ground coffee to the corresponding brewing adapter.

Can it prepare both espresso and longer coffee?
Yes. The two preset options provide approximately 2.4 fl oz for a short espresso and 3.7 fl oz for a lungo-style coffee.

Does the cold mode make traditional cold brew concentrate?
No. The cold setting prepares coffee without normal hot-water extraction. It does not steep coffee for several hours or refrigerate the water like traditional cold-brew preparation.

Does the machine froth milk?
No integrated milk frother is shown. Milk-based drinks can be prepared by adding separately heated or frothed milk.

How many drinks can it make per fill?
Approximately 5–10 small servings, depending on the selected volume, coffee format and amount of water used for rinsing.

Which plug should I select for the United States?
