Adjustable water volume

Hot coffee mode

The spiral heating system preheats in approximately 35 seconds. Combined with the 19-bar pump, it produces concentrated coffee with a rich aroma and crema.

Cold-coffee mode

Cold mode can be used to prepare coffee for iced drinks without normal hot-water extraction. For a colder result, fill the reservoir with cold water and brew directly over ice.

Preparing your coffee

— Fill the removable reservoir with fresh drinking water.

— Select the adapter for your capsule, ESE pod or ground coffee.

— Insert the coffee and secure the adapter according to the supplied instructions.

— Place a cup no taller than approximately 3.8 inches beneath the dispenser.

— Switch on the machine and select hot or cold mode.

— Choose the desired water-volume level.

— Start brewing and wait for the dispensing cycle to finish completely.

Preparing iced coffee

— Add cold water to the reservoir.

— Fill a suitable cup with ice.

— Select cold mode and the desired volume.

— Brew directly over the ice.

Cleaning and maintenance

— Allow the adapter and used capsule to cool before removal.

— Discard the used capsule, pod or coffee grounds after brewing.

— Rinse the removable adapter and ground-coffee filter regularly.

— Empty and wash the drip tray as needed.

Which capsules can I use?
The machine supports cup-style single-serve pods, small conical espresso capsules, large plastic beverage capsules and ESE paper pods. It also includes a brewing option for ground coffee.

Does it work with wide dome-shaped barcode capsules?
No. The machine is designed for small conical espresso capsules and is not compatible with wide dome-shaped barcode capsules.

Can I use my own ground coffee?
Yes. Use the dedicated ground-coffee adapter and appropriately ground espresso coffee.

Can it prepare iced coffee?
Yes. Cold mode dispenses without normal hot-water extraction. The machine does not chill the water, so use cold water and ice for the best result.

Does it froth milk?
It does not have an integrated steam wand or milk frother. Milk-based drinks can be prepared with compatible milk capsules or by adding milk frothed separately.

Will a travel mug fit?
The available cup clearance is approximately 3.8 inches, so most tall travel mugs will not fit. A 6–8 fl oz coffee cup is recommended.

How large is the water tank?
